A contractor for Medford’s Water Department will start working on Evans Street tomorrow (Monday, September 25th) starting at 7AM and will continue until 4PM. City of Medford’s Flu Clinics
Medford’s Board of Health will be hosting two Flu clinics. The first Flu Clinic will be held on Thursday, September 28th from 5-7 PM at the Medford Public High School Gym located at 489 Winthrop St. The second flu clinic will be held on Wednesday, October 4th from 9AM to noon at the Medford Housing Authority Building located at 121 Riverside Ave. Anyone wishing to attend should bring their insurance cards and wear short sleeves. Fifth Annual Medford Strong Motorcycle Run
On Saturday, September 23rd, the fifth annual Medford Strong Motorcyle Run will take place at the VFW, located on Mystic Ave. Registration will begin at 7AM. There will be music, raffles and food available during this event. This event will benefit the Krystle Campbell Scholarship Fund. All are welcome to attend.
Complete Streets Project
On Tuesday, September 26th at 6:30pm at the Roberts Elementary School Cafeteria, residents and business-owners are invited to attend a community informational session that will review a proposal for a Complete Streets project in Haines Square. The proposed design will make improvements to both pedestrian and vehicular safety and streamline the traffic flow at the intersection of Spring St. and Salem St. Attendees will be given an opportunity to ask questions and give feedback on the proposal. Linden Street Water Main Break
Medford’s Water Department is shutting water service off on Linden Street (Monday, September 18th at 2:45PM) to repair a water main break. Normal water service will return when repairs are complete, which should take about 4-5 hours. We appreciate your patience.
