On Thursday, June 1st, a modular home is being placed at 65 Summer Street. Wide load trucks will be brought in carrying the home and equipment necessary to complete the project. To accommodate this, there will be no parking in designated areas from 6AM-4PM on this day. This includes all of Walnut Street, a small portion of South Street and Summer Street from Gourley Road to Marston Street.
Signs will be posted. Vehicles that are parked in these areas will be subject to ticket and tow. Additionally, police officers will be on scene diverting traffic away from the work area and to ensure the safety of the project. We appreciate your cooperation.
Medford’s Annual Memorial Day Ceremony
We would like to remind and invite Medford residents to Medford’s Annual Memorial Day Ceremony on Monday, May 29th at 10AM at Oak Grove Cemetery. Please be advised there will be blasting in the construction area in the vicinity of 541 and 542 Winthrop Street. This will occur on Friday, May 26th and will resume on Tuesday, May 30th and will finish on Wednesday, May 31st. On Wednesday, May 24th, a modular home is being placed at 60 Metcalf Street. Wide load trucks will be brought in carrying the home and also the equipment necessary to complete the project. To accommodate this, there will be no parking on Walnut Street from 6AM-4PM on Wednesday. Additionally, a small portion of South Street will be designated no parking approximately 100 feet from Walnut Street. No parking signs will be posted. Vehicles parked in these areas will be subject to towing. Police officers will be on hand to ensure safety. We appreciate your patience and cooperation.
Medford Overcoming Addiction – 3rd Annual Candlelight Vigil
Medford Overcoming Addiction is having their 3nd Annual Candlelight Vigil on Sunday, May 21st at 6PM in the Medford High School’s Caron Auditorium. It will be a night to remember those we lost to addiction, raise awareness and give hope to those struggling. All are welcome. Thank-you.
