Street Sweeping Equipment will be in Zone 12 during the day on Friday, December 2nd. Your help in moving your vehicles from the street will make it easier for the crews to properly clean your area. Let your neighbors know as well. Ticketing is utilized during the street sweeping process. Parking will be allowed on the major arteries during the Fall Street Sweeping. Also, Please do not push leaves into the street. All yard waste removal must be done through Waste Management. Walk and Vigil
Hello, This is Captain Barry Clemente with an informational message. Medford Overcoming Addiction and Medford’s Office of Prevention and Outreach will be hosting a Candlelight Remembrance Walk and Vigil on Thursday, December 1st. Many families in Medford have lost loved ones to the disease of addiction. This event is to remember those who have lost their lives and to support the families. The evening will begin at the Grace Church located at 160 High Street at 6:30 PM for a vigil and a prayer, followed by a candlelit walk to City Hall. Medford City Hall will have a family Christmas Festival. A Remembrance Christmas Tree will be decorated with ornaments that remembers loved ones to keep their spirit alive during the Holiday Season. Parking at City Hall is recommended. Parking is also available at the Grace Church lot. If you cannot make the Vigil, you are welcome to come to the event at City Hall around 7:15PM. All are welcome. Fells Ave Sewer Work Continues
Work crews will continue the sewer work in the area of Fells Ave, moving up to the area of Fells Ave between Murray Hill Road and Watervale Rd on Thursday, December 1st. There will be no parking on either side of Fells Ave in the work area. Work should continue for the next five to six days between 7AM and 5PM. Notices have also been distributed. Medford’s Holiday Glow Celebration
Hello, this is Captain Barry Clemente with an informational message. Medford’s Holiday Glow Celebration will take place at Medford City Hall on Wednesday, November 30th from 4:30PM-7:00PM. This is a community event which will have musical performances, local food, children’s activities, the Jingle Bell Festival Tree Auction, and the Lighting of City Hall. There will also be a Toys for Tots Drive (new, unwrapped gifts). This event will take place rain or shine. All are welcome to attend. Expect an increase in traffic in the area. Thank-you
