National Drug Take Back Initiative
The Medford Police Department and the City of Medford’s Board of Health will be sponsoring a National Drug Take Back Initiative at the Medford City Hall rear parking lot on Saturday, April 30th from 10AM to 2PM. This is part of a nationwide effort to take back prescription drugs. Residents will be able to turn in any unused or expired medication for safe disposal. This includes any pills, tablets, capsules, cough medicines, and any other medications. This service is free and anonymous for residents. More information on this program is available at www.dea.gov.
