On Saturday, January 9th, (weather permitting) there will be a Mobile Food Market available for Medford residents in need at the WIC Office at 239 Commercial Street in Malden, weather permitting. Donations of fresh produce, dairy, and other refrigerated items are offered free of charge. Please bring a reusable shopping bag or cart to transport food home. A shuttle service will be provided from Medford City Hall to the Mobile Market starting at 11:30AM on January 9th. You must pre-register by calling (781)393-2439.
Residential, Business, Commuter Permits Available
Residential, Business, and Commuter permits are available for the 2016 Calendar Year. You can purchase your Permit online at www.parkmedford.org or in person at the Park Medford Office located at 557 Main Street. Office hours are Monday to Friday 9AM to 5PM with extended hours on Wednesday until 7PM. Residential permits are $10 for the year while Business and Commuter Permits are $100 for the year.
Brooks Street Road Work
Work crews will continue working on Brooks Street between (Winthrop St. and Woburn St.) during the week (November 30th to December 4th) from 7AM to 5PM. Do not park on either side of Brooks Street during the day. Paving is scheduled for the end of the week. Notices will also be posted. As always, we appreciate your patience and cooperation.
Annual Jingle Bells 5K Road Race and Walk
On Saturday, November 28th, the annual Jingle Bells 5K Road Race and Walk will take place. Riverside Ave, from Clippership Drive to Spring St. will be closed to vehicular traffic during the event. Traffic will be blocked from entering Riverside Ave on all streets between Clippership Drive and Spring St.
The event will begin at 10:15 AM and is expected to last less than two hours.

Summer Street Paving
