Trash Pickup Pushed Back One Day Due to Storm
Due to the approaching storm, Waste Management will not be picking up trash tomorrow (Thursday, February 9th). Trash pickup throughout the City will be pushed back a day. We appreciate your patience. Thank-you.
Snow Emergency in effect 7AM February 9th
Please be advised that a Snow Emergency will go into effect at 7AM Thursday morning, February 9th, and will continue until further notice. While the Snow Emergency is in effect, the Winter Parking Restrictions will be enforced. No parking is allowed on either side of any street that is designated as an Emergency Artery. Please refer to our website at www.pdmamedford.wpengine.com for the list of Snow Emergency arteries. During the Snow Emergency, the Odd-Even winter parking restrictions shall be in effect on all side streets, 24 hours a day, until the Snow Emergency is lifted. This winter, parking will be allowed on the even side only unless otherwise restricted. Vehicles parked in violation shall be ticketed and towed. We need to keep the roads accessible for emergency vehicles. As always, we appreciate everyone’s patience and cooperation.
Judkins Road Water Main Break
Medford’s Water Department will be in the Judkins Rd. area (Saturday, February 4th), repairing a water main break this morning. Water service in that area will be shut down at approximately 9:30AM in order to start repairs. Normal water service will return after repairs are complete, which should take about five to six hours.
