City Parking Program Update

The “Go Live” date for enforcement in the business districts is January 15, 2015. For residential permit parking, the date for enforcement will be January 26, 2015. Medford Park Ambassadors are currently in our squares to help educate the public about the program and the use of the Kiosks. Residential, business and residential commuter permits can be purchased for 2015 online at ParkMEDFORD.org. You can also visit their office at 557 Main Street or contact them by mail.

Important points include the following:

Remember to enter your full license plate number. Partial plate entry could result in a citation.

Time limit violations will be enforced if your vehicle is parked in one spot longer than the posted time limit.

Only residents who were required to purchase a residential parking permit in the past must continue to do so under the new program.

All resident permit holders parked in a metered area are still required to pay the kiosk or meter.

Please visit the website at ParkMEDFORD.org for additional information, including helpful videos on how to use the parking kiosks and how to pay by phone.

To date, about 1200 out of 3500 have registered for residential permits, 175 of 350 have registered for business permits and 35 for resident commuter permits.
