Minimum Requirements
Do You Qualify: Lateral Transfer Officers must meet the following requirements for consideration:
✔️ A FT enforcement officer from any U.S. law enforcement agency must have experience in his/her agency to be considered as a Lateral Transfer.
✔️ A FT Lateral Transfer applicant must be in good standings with the National Decertification Index (NDI).
✔️ Must be of good moral character and fit for employment, as determined by the POST Commission.
✔️ Must pass thorough Background Investigation.
✔️ Must pass a Medical Exam and Psychological Exam.
✔️ Must pass the Physical Abilities Test standards, based on the standards set forth by the MPTC Police Academy.
