National Night Out

Each year, the Medford Police Department proudly hosts National Night Out, a free, family-friendly community event held on the first Tuesday of August at Hormel Stadium.

Part of a nationwide initiative, National Night Out is designed to strengthen the relationship between law enforcement and the communities we serve — all while promoting neighborhood unity, safety, and trust.

What You’ll Find at National Night Out:
– K-9 demonstrations, Touch-a-Truck, and interactive displays
– Live performances, music, and dancing
– Kids’ activities like face painting, obstacle courses, and lawn games
– Free food from local vendors and restaurants
– Special guest appearances from superheroes, mascots, and local talent

The event draws thousands of Medford residents each year and continues to grow thanks to the support of our dedicated officers, vendors volunteers, and generous sponsors.

Why It Matters
National Night Out offers a chance for community members to meet the officers who serve them in a relaxed, welcoming setting. It’s about building relationships, fostering open communication, and celebrating what makes our city strong — the people who call it home.

We’re proud to bring this event to Medford every year and invite everyone to be part of it. Whether you come for the entertainment, the food, or just to connect, National Night Out has something for all ages.

Want to Get Involved?
Registration for vendors and sponsors opens in the early spring each year. If you are interested in participating, please email us at communityengagement@medfordpolice.com. We do reach capacity for vendors prior to the event, so don’t wait!
