Residential Burglaries
In the past week or so, the West Medford Area has experienced several residential burglaries. We have posted a short video of one suspect from a burglary that occurred on Jerome St on our Medford Police Twitter account as well as on our website, pdmamedford.wpengine.com. The video on our website is located at the bottom right of our home page in the twitter box. Click the box and the video will be accessible. This particular house break occurred at approximately 6:30pm on February 23rd. We are hoping that someone in the area may recognize him.
Due to the recent increase in this type of crime in your area, we are asking you to be aware of your surroundings, remember to lock doors and windows, speak with your neighbors, and to report any suspicious vehicles or persons to the Medford Police immediately.
If you have information on these crimes that you would like to share anonymously, you can utilize Tip411. Our website can guide you thru this process.
Detectives have been assigned to these cases and are working diligently in conjunction with the uniformed Patrol Division to try and solve these crimes.

Snow Emergency in effect 9AM Monday Feb. 8th
Please be advised that a Snow Emergency will go into effect at 9AM Monday morning, February 8th and will continue until further notice. While the Snow Emergency is in effect, the Winter Parking Restrictions will be enforced. No parking is allowed on either side of any street that is designated as an Emergency Artery. Please refer to our website at www.pdmamedford.wpengine.com for the list of Snow Emergency arteries. During the Snow Emergency, the Odd-Even winter parking restrictions shall be in effect on all side streets, 24 hours a day, until the Snow Emergency is lifted. This winter, parking will be allowed on the odd side only unless otherwise restricted. Vehicles parked in violation shall be ticketed and towed. Parking on the Odd Side During Storm
Due to tonight’s weather forecast (Thursday, February 4th), we are asking residents to park on the odd side of the street during the night and into the morning. This will allow plow operators to effectively clean the streets. We need to keep the streets accessible for emergency vehicles. As always, we appreciate your cooperation. Thank-you
