The City of Medford will begin grinding Harvard Street, between Main Street and Willis Ave on Sunday, April 30th at approximately 7:30PM. There will be heavy equipment in this area. This will continue into the early morning hours on Monday and should be complete by 5:30AM. Grinding is a necessary step before paving begins at a later date. Traffic will be detoured away from this area during these times. We appreciate your patience.
South Medford Public Meeting
On Tuesday, May 2 at 6:30pm at the South Medford Fire Station, there will be a presentation about proposed renovations to the intersection of Medford St. and Main St. in South Medford. This project is designed to improve pedestrian and vehicular safety in the area and is part of the city-wide Medford Complete Streets projects. Zone 14 Street Sweeping April 28th
Street Sweeping Equipment will be in ZONE 14 during the day on Friday, April 28th, between 8AM and 6PM. Your help in moving your vehicles from the street will make it easier for the crews to properly clean your area. Let your neighbors know as well. Ticketing and towing services will be utilized during the Spring Street Sweeping. Parking will be allowed on the major arteries during the street sweeping. National Drug TakeBack Initiative April 29th
The Medford Police Department and the City of Medford’s Board of Health will be sponsoring a National Drug Take Back Initiative at the Medford City Hall rear parking lot on Saturday, April 29th from 10AM to 2PM. This is part of a nationwide effort to take back prescription drugs. Residents will be able to turn in any unused or expired medication for safe disposal. This includes any pills, tablets, capsules, cough medicines, and any other medications. This service is free and anonymous for residents. More information on this program is available at www.dea.gov.
