On Saturday, November 26th, the Annual Jingle Bell 5K Walk and Run will take place here in Medford. All proceeds will benefit the elementary schools in Medford. Please be advised there will be traffic disruptions from approximately 9AM until approximately 1PM. The Run and Walk will begin at the American Legion Hall on Winthrop St. and proceed northerly onto Main St in Winchester, where it will turn around and return over the same route back to the American Legion on Winthrop St. During the race, portions of Winthrop Street will be closed to vehicular traffic. Northbound traffic will be diverted at the Winthrop Rotary onto High St. Southbound traffic will be diverted onto Playstead Rd. There will be no access to Winthrop St. from any side streets along the route except Playstead Rd. We will restore traffic to its normal pattern as soon as it is safe to do so. We ask that you please plan accordingly. We appreciate your patience and cooperation.
Fells Ave Sewer Work
Work Crews will be on Fells Ave (between Murray Hill Rd. and Fells Ave Terr.) on Monday morning (November 21st),replacing a sewer line. Please do not park in the work area. Notices will also be posted in the area. As always, we appreciate your patience and cooperation.
Zone 10 Street Sweeping
Street Sweeping Equipment will be in Zone 10 during the day on Monday, November 21st and Tuesday, November 22nd. Your help in moving your vehicles from the street will make it easier for the crews to properly clean your area. Let your neighbors know as well. Ticketing is utilized during the street sweeping process. Please do not push leaves into the street. All yard waste removal must be done through Waste Management.
