REGISTRATION FOR THE 2026 MEDFORD JUNIOR POLICE ACADEMY IS NOW CLOSED
Update 4/13/26: Registration for the 2026 Junior Police Academy is now closed. Both weeks have wait lists at this time. For those that did register, an email will be sent shortly with further instruction.
We are still looking for high school-aged counselors to help assist with the program. This is a great opportunity to earn community service hours while mentoring younger students.
Thank you to everyone for their enthusiastic support of this program!
The Medford Police Department is excited to announce that MPD Junior Police Academy is BACK this summer – this time for TWO weeks!
This free, week-long program gives students a behind-the-scenes look at law enforcement through hands-on activities, team-building challenges, and interactive learning alongside Medford Police officers.
This year, we are offering two separate weeks with the same or similar schedule to allow more cadets the opportunity to participate.
Program Details:
Week 1: July 13–17, 2026
Week 2: July 20–24, 2026
Time: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM daily
Location: Medford High School
Eligibility:
• Students entering 6th, 7th, or 8th grade
• MUST be a Medford resident
Cadets may attend one week only to allow more students to participate
