Please be advised that a Snow Emergency will go into effect at midnight and will remain in effect until further notice. While the snow emergency is in effect, the Winter Parking Restrictions will be enforced. No parking is allowed on either side of any street that is designated as an Emergency Artery. Please refer to our website at www.pdmamedford.wpengine.com for the list of Snow Emergency arteries. Also during the Snow Emergency, the Odd-Even winter parking restrictions shall be in effect on all side streets, 24 hours a day, until the Snow Emergency is lifted. This winter, parking will be allowed on the odd side only unless otherwise restricted. Vehicles parked in violation shall be ticketed and towed. We need to keep the roads accessible for emergency vehicles. If there is a concern that needs to be addressed by our Highway Department during the storm, they are available at 781-393-2445. Also, Waste Management will not be collecting trash tomorrow due to the weather conditions. All trash pickup will be delayed by one day for the rest of the week. Friday’s scheduled pickup will now occur on Saturday. City Hall, the Library and the Council on Aging will be closed tomorrow (March 13th) due to the storm. All buildings will plan to re-open on Wednesday, March 14th. As always, we appreciate everyone’s patience and cooperation. Thank-you.
