The Massachusetts Water Resources Authority (MWRA) will be repairing a leak on a 48 inch water pipeline on Riverside Ave. The repair will begin on Monday, July 25th. The project involves the excavation of a 10′ by 10′ area in the vicinity of 45 Riverside Ave. The repair work will take approximately six to seven days to be completed. Hours of operation will be from 8AM to 3PM Monday-Friday. Area parking may be restricted within the construction work zone. Water service to your home or business will not be interrupted. Mobile Food Market July 9, 2016
On Saturday, July 9th from 1PM to 2PM there will be a Mobile Food Market available for Medford residents in need at the WIC Office at 239 Commercial Street in Malden, weather permitting. Donations of fresh produce, dairy, and other refrigerated items are offered free of charge. Please bring a reusable shopping bag or cart to transport food home. A shuttle service will be provided from Medford City Hall to the Mobile Market starting at 11:30AM on July 9th. You must pre-register by calling (781)393-2439.

House Breaks on June 24th and June 25th
We have recently experienced several house breaks in the area on Friday and Saturday. They occurred on Governors Avenue, Sherwood Road, Jeremiah Circle, High St and Grove St. Entry was gained by forcing open the front door or entering thru a basement window. Jewelry appears to have been stolen in most of these cases. Please be vigilant and aware of any suspicious people or vehicles in the area.
