This is an update on the loss of power in the North Medford area. National Grid has informed the Mayor that they are currently working to restore power to the North Medford residents. Power will be restored to most of the area in 20 minutes. The remaining area will have power in approximately 40 minutes. We appreciate your patience. Thank-you.
Loss of Power in the North Medford Area
We are aware that there is a power outage affecting much of the North Medford area. National Grid work crews have responded and are currently working to restore power. We should have an update on the outage from National Grid within the hour. Thank-you for your patience.
Trash pickup on Regular Schedule
Trash pickup will be on it’s regular schedule this week. City Hall, the Senior Center and the Library will be closed on Tuesday, February 10th. All City and Public Meetings including the Traffic Commission Meeting and the City Council Meeting will be cancelled for Tuesday. All Medford Schools will also be cancelled on Tuesday. Thank-you.

Snow Emergency in effect until at least Tuesday, February 10th
Please be advised that a Snow Emergency will remain in effect until at least Tuesday, February 10th. Snow Emergency Parking Enforcement will increase during this time period as a result of the weather forecast. While the Snow Emergency is in effect, the Winter Parking Restrictions will continue to be enforced. Again, No parking is allowed on either side of any street that is designated as an Emergency Artery. Please refer to our website at www.pdmamedford.wpengine.com for the list of Snow Emergency arteries. During the Snow Emergency, the Odd-Even winter parking restrictions shall be in effect on all side streets, 24 hours a day, until the Snow Emergency is lifted. This winter, parking will be allowed on the even side only unless otherwise restricted. Vehicles parked in violation shall be ticketed and towed. We need everyone’s cooperation in order to keep our roads open and accessible. . This information can be found on the City-website at www.medford.org.
