Snow Emergency Information
We remind everyone to assist neighbors in need during the storm and help keep sidewalks and fire hydrants clear. Please do not throw snow back into the streets. We are trying to keep the roads clear for emergency vehicles. Also, make sure to clear home and auto exhaust vents to prevent carbon monoxide exposure. Snow Emergency goes into Effect on Thursday, January 4th at 7AM
Please be advised that a Snow Emergency will go into effect at 7AM on Thursday, January 4th and will remain in effect until further notice. While the snow emergency is in effect, the Winter Parking Restrictions will be enforced. No parking is allowed on either side of any street that is designated as an Emergency Artery. Please refer to our website at www.pdmamedford.wpengine.com for the list of Snow Emergency arteries. Also during the Snow Emergency, the Odd-Even winter parking restrictions shall be in effect on all side streets, 24 hours a day, until the Snow Emergency is lifted. This winter, parking will be allowed on the odd side only unless otherwise restricted. Vehicles parked in violation shall be ticketed and towed. We need to keep the roads accessible for emergency vehicles. If there is a concern that needs to be addressed by our Highway Department during the storm, they are available at 781-393-2445. Water Main Break
Work crews are currently repairing a water main break in the Sherman Court/Spring Street area. (December 30th) Water service has been shut down for about 4 to 5 hours. Normal water service will return after repairs are complete. We appreciate your patience. Thank-you
January Police-Community Meeting
The next police-community meeting will be held on Wednesday, January 3rd at 7PM at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital School of Nursing located at 170 Governors Ave. All are welcome to attend. Thank-you.
